Empereur: Passion for Steel

Christophe Pingaud, an architect and designer, is passionate about steel, especially stainless steel. For the Circle Series switches (Empereur), he chose to carve the round shape of his designs from this cold but smooth material and hand-polish them. The production is 100% French (except for the sockets of the same range, which are made in Germany), both artisanal, ethical, and environmentally friendly. Several finishes are offered, including polished or brushed mirror, as well as gilded brass or matte black. The high resistance of these devices allows their use in aggressive environments, such as seaside areas, but only indoors. L.P.
